Here are my top two favourite recipes, they are classics from Jason Vales juicing books with a little twist of my own. Where you can, get local organic produce for optimum nutrition. And feel free to put your own stamp on either recipe.
The Green God (Makes 2)
2 Golden Delicious Apples
Thumb of ginger
1 green pepper
1 courgette
Lime,
Half cucumber
Half fennel
Handful of spinach
Bunch of Mint
Avocado
Ice
Juice everything apart from the avocado, squashing the spinach and the mint leaves between two apples to got optimum juice. Then add avocado and ice to blender and whizz until smooth.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup
200ml Almond milk
1 tbsp Whole Earth Peanut butter
1 tbsp Cocou nibs
Half a banana
1 tsp tahini
2 Medjool dates
pinch of pink himalayan salt
2 drops of vanilla essence
Ice
Stick it all in the blender and whizz together. Thats it. Simple
We tend to start the day with a ginger shot and some power greens.
Power greens can be bought from health food shots and are mixed with water for a pond water style drink, packed full of nutrients. Its a great way to start the day winning.
